Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Janimony.chat. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of Service

Janimony.chat provides a chat widget platform for businesses. You may use the service to embed a chat widget on your website and manage customer conversations.

Acceptable Use

• You must use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
• You may not use the service for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer or copy the platform
• You are responsible for what you configure the AI to say or do

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@janimony.chat if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account per business. You may not share credentials or resell access.

3. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Paystack. Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦).

• Free plan: No payment required, usage limits apply
• Paid plans: Charged at the start of each billing period
• You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the period ends
• Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund on first-time paid subscriptions if requested before usage exceeds 50 messages

4. Message Limits

Each plan has a monthly message allowance. When your limit is reached, the widget will continue to load but AI/agent responses will not process until the next billing cycle or you upgrade your plan.

5. Intellectual Property

You own your business data and customer conversations. Janimony.chat owns the platform, code, and brand. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service.

6. Liability

Janimony.chat is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or issues arising from AI responses generated for your customers. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring the AI knowledge base appropriately for your business.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or remain unpaid after grace periods. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you via email 14 days before material changes take effect.
